Q: Do we price match?
-A: Yes we do, as long as it is a legitimate dealer, and the product and size must be the exact same.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Orders are normally processed within 1-3 days, and standard shipping is typically 3-4 business days.
Q: How do I choose the right board size?
A: Board size depends on your weight, riding style, and skill level. Heavier riders generally need longer boards, while shorter boards are more maneuverable.
Q: Are your boards beginner-friendly?
A: Yes—we carry beginner, intermediate, and advanced boards. Many of our packages are perfect for first-time riders.
Q: What’s the difference between beginner and advanced wakeboards?
A: Beginner boards are more stable and forgiving, while advanced boards offer more control, speed, and responsiveness for tricks.
Q: What brands do you carry?
A: We stock top wake brands like Ronix, Liquid Force, Connelly, Radar, and more—gear we trust on the water and snow.
Q: What if I’m not sure what to buy?
A: Reach out—we’ll help match you with the right setup based on your experience and riding style.
Q: Can I return or exchange gear?
A: Yes—unused items can be returned or exchanged within our return window. Reach out and we’ll help you out.
Q: What is the difference between Camber and Rocker?
● Camber means the middle of the board/skis arches up off the snow while the tip and tail touch. This gives you better edge control, stability, and “pop” for carving and jumps.
● Rocker (also called reverse camber) is the opposite—the center touches the snow while the tip and tail curve up. This makes the board/skis easier to turn, more forgiving, and better for floating in powder.
Q: What do the flex numbers mean for ski boots?
A: The flex number on a ski boot directly correlates to how soft or how stiff the boot will be. Meaning a 100 flex boot will take much more weight and energy to be properly flexed out, in comparison to a 75 flex boot.
Q: Is there set sizing for skate boards?
A: In terms of length, all skate decks are the same. However the width will change. Choosing a size will come down to personal preference, although a smaller size (ex; 7.75-8) would be better suited for kids or someone with smaller feet.
Q: Does shoe size correlate to boot size for Ski boots/Snowboard boots?
A: Long story short, no it does not. When fitting for boots it is very important that you go by your direct foot size.
Q: Do I need to have my new skis / snowboard waxed?
A: Nope! They come ready to rip straight from the factory!!
Q: How do I size a wakeboard?
A: Sizing for wakeboards is mostly done by the weight of the rider. Each brand will have a range specific to their models. For an average recreational rider you want to be in the middle to upper weight range. However, for the people doing tricks and getting big air it is better to be in the middle to bottom of the range.
Q: Can I get one wake surfer for everyone on my boat to use?
A: The simple answer is no, unless you and everyone on the boat are similar in weight. Wake surfers are sized by weight, and most times smaller individuals have a hard time on a board that's right for the bigger riders on the boat.
Q: Do I really need a wakeboard rope?
A: You should use a wakeboard-specific rope because it’s designed for the speed, pull, and
tricks involved in wakeboarding.
● Wakeboard ropes have low stretch, so when you edge or jump, the pull from the boat is immediate and consistent—this gives you better control and “pop” off the wake. Regular ropes (like ski ropes) stretch more, which can feel sluggish and unpredictable.
● They’re also built with durable coatings that help them float and resist tangling, making them safer and easier to handle in the water.
● Many come with sectioned lengths, so you can adjust the rope to match your skill level
and the boat’s wake size. Overall, a wakeboard rope improves performance, control, and safety compared to a standard tow rope.
Q: What is the difference between a comp vest and a life jacket?
A: A comp vest (competition vest) and a life jacket serve different purposes on the water.
● A comp vest is designed for performance and mobility. It’s thinner, more flexible, and
less bulky, which makes it ideal for wakeboarding or waterskiing tricks—but it provides
minimal flotation and is not Coast Guard–approved.
● A life jacket (PFD) is built for safety. It has much more buoyancy, is Coast
Guard–approved, and is designed to keep you afloat, even if you’re unconscious.
In short: comp vest = comfort and performance; life jacket = flotation and safety.
Q: How do I know if I need a wide snowboard?
A: A common rule: if your boot size is about US men’s 11 or larger, you’ll likely want a wide board.
● The issue is toe and heel drag—if your boots stick out too far, they can catch the snow
when you turn, especially on deeper carves.
● You can also check the waist width of the board: your boots should hang over slightly,
but not excessively (just a bit on each side is ideal).
In short: bigger boots → risk of drag → go wide for better control and smoother turns.
Q: What is the difference between the Marker Squire 10 and 12?
1. DIN range (biggest difference)
● Squire 10: DIN ~3–10
● Squire 12: DIN ~4–12
2. Skier level
● Squire 10: beginner → intermediate
● Squire 12: intermediate → advanced
3. Construction & durability
● Squire 10: more lightweight, more plastic components
● Squire 12: slightly more metal and reinforced parts, better durability and power transfer
Q: What are heatmoldable boots? And what boots are heatmoldable?
A: Heatmolding creates a custom fit for your feet inside of your liners as well as the shell. Most upper end boots have the ability to be heat molded. Feel free to call and ask if you're curious about the heat-moldability of a specific boot!
Q: Will you mount my ski bindings before shipping them out?
A: Typically no, but can be done for a mounting fee. Upon request.
Q: Are we real?
A: Why yes we are! We are a small mom and pop shop located in Lake Geneva Wi. We have been in business for 24 years now and we don't plan on stopping any time soon!!
